Opening of the network of historic house museum in Milan
Milan possesses a unique patrimony, and its recent history is represented in four exceptional historic house museums. The residences of noblemen Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli and Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi date from the second half of the 19th century, while the bourgeois villas of the Boschi Di Stefano family and the industrialists Necchi Campiglio were both built by architect Piero Portaluppi and date from the 1930s to the 1970s. Milan’s network of historic house museums, all located in the city centre, share a common theme, although each museum has its own particular slant on the period it describes. Heads is responsible for the coordinated image of this museum network, which provides a fascinating insight into the diverse identities of Milan.

Le case dei nobili Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli e Fausto e Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi risalgono alla seconda metà del XIX secolo, mentre le case della famiglia altoborghese Boschi Di Stefano e degli industriali Necchi Campiglio, entrambe realizzate dall’architetto Piero Portaluppi, risalgono agli anni 1930-1970. Il Circuito Case Museo, tutte collocate nel centro storico della città, permette di conoscere storie personali e scelte di gusto che riflettono anche l’evoluzione e la trasformazione della società cittadina.
